The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has continued the interrogation of former Adamawa State Governor, Adm. Murtala Nyako(retd.).
Nyako, who was impeached last year by the state House of assembly, surrendered himself to the commissionon Monday and was grilled by operatives for eight hours and thirty minutes.
The ex-governor, who arrived the EFCC headquarters on Monday by 10am, was asked to go after a grueling process of interrogation that was suspended by 6.30pm.
However, the commission resumed the interrogation today with Nyako’s arrival at the EFCC at 10am.
Investigation revealed that operatives are still interrogating him almost three hours after his arrival at the EFCC on Tuesday.
The Head of Media and Publicity of the EFCC, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, told our correspondent on the telephone that the former governor is a guest of the EFCC today.
He said, “I can confirm that Nyako is at the commission.”
